LFV Cutting Technology
Low Frequency Vibration (LFV) is a new cutting technology from Citizen designed to avoid the problem of spiraling chips, entanglement of chips and built-up edges. Available on Cincom & Miyano machines, this technology can handle a range of machining shapes and materials and is ideal for cutting difficult to cut materials while delivering increased throughput and improved part accuracy. Malleable materials such as copper and plastic, previously impossible to control chips, are easily controlled with LFV.
