New Cincom M-32
The M32 sliding head lathe, synonymous with high-performance Cincom products, has undergone a full model change in its updated design.
Operability and set-up time are improved with the new HMI equipped operating panel that boasts a 15-inch touchscreen. The door and window have also been enlarged to provide improved access and in-machine visibility during operation.
New functions such as a GBL switching function, B axis supporting both 5-axis control and back spindle, and the ability to machine up to Ø38mm have been added. The turret tooling has been completely redesigned with a conversion to single-drive for rotary tools and strengthening of the rotary tools motor. Higher torque and output for all motors improves machining performance and spindle acceleration/deceleration time.
Other enhancements include reduced overhang of the counter spindle headstock on its slideway to provide more robust support, larger and more rigid ballscrews, and 30% lower air consumption.
