With a 40th-anniversary theme, Tsugami/Rem Sales’ booth offers an assortment of draws.
The Tsugami/Rem Sales booth is highlighting the company’s 40th anniversary with a fun lineup of attractions that is drawing interest from show visitors.
First off, new technology is being demonstrated with oscillation turning, which provides increased chip control by breaking chips with alternating cutting depths as the material is being fed through the machine. The company is also showing the upgraded LaserSwiss release—the Precision Tsugami B0125-III 12-mm, 5-axis Swiss-type CNC lathe with a fully integrated SPI laser cutting system. Also on display is the new SS38MH-5AX 38-mm, chucker-convertible sliding-headstock lathe with B axis.
MachineMetrics is monitoring the machines live in the booth. Representatives of that company are also available to talk with visitors looking for more information about machine monitoring—especially the newly offered MachineMetrics Health Platform that is available on all Tsugami Swiss machines.
There is also a learning station set up with demonstrations and engineering consulting on Abile, the free programming software that is included with all Tsugami machine purchases.
